An immediate opportunity exists for a Manager of Pre-Sales Engineering who will play a key role in expanding our worldwide pre-sales network engineering team. Reporting to the Director of Pre-Sales Engineering & IT, the Manager of Pre-Sales Engineering will recruit, train and manage a team of about 15 Pre-Sales Engineers. This is a hands-on position.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, build, train, and manage a first class pre-sales network engineering team
  • Mentor and coach the team to perform pre-sales web demonstrations of NetBrain software for prospective customers consisting of network engineers and network managers
  • Lead and manage the team to provide outstanding pre-sales technical support to customers via web meetings, phone or email
  • Perform pre-sales on-line demos of NetBrain software for prospective customers consisting of network engineers, network managers, and key business stakeholders
  • Provide product improvement suggestions to the development team
  • Lead the NetBrain Assisted Proof of Concept process including multiple remote meetings with customers proving NetBrain software functionality and value in the potential customer’s environment
  • Train and assist customers on using the many features of NetBrain software to manage their network
  • Provide technical support to customers via on-line meetings, phone or email
  • Conduct product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts with very large Enterprise and Government deals as a known NetBrain expert
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring regarding network technology and deployments to various NetBrain internal teams including pre-sales, post-sales, advanced services, marketing, and product management
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Solid understanding of the network industry and technology
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise networks
  • Proven ability to interview, train, mentor and supervise a pre-sales or network engineering team
  • Extensive knowledge of major vendors’ networking products configurations, operations, and deployments is required
  • CCNP, CCDP or similar certification is preferred
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols, QOS, network security, MPLS, etc.
  • Early adopter with interest in latest networking trends and technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Some travel may be required
