An immediate opportunity exists for a Senior Network Engineer who will become an expert of NetBrain’s state-of-the-art technology and will help to train our customers to become one as well.


The Senior Network Engineer, Techhical Support will be working with many different customers and gain exposure to various types of networks, and will continually be innovative with an evolving set of technologies from NetBrain and other industry leaders.  


Customer training in this role is essential and will be done remotely using GoToMeeting or WebEx as well as customer sites to deliver customized NetBrain training using customers’ networks. The Senior Technical Support Engineer will collect feedback from NetBrain users and work with internal product requirement and development teams to further improve NetBrain products.

  • Function as a technical, engineering, and operational subject matter expert for product development by participating in the Technical Advisory meetings and providing product feature improvement requests based on customer feedback
  • Train customer engineers to leverage NetBrain’s technology to automate various tasks in network operations, including documentation automation, compliance automation, troubleshooting automation and change automation
  • Drive online customer support meeting to troubleshoot customer's network and/or software issue
  • Perform analysis of customers’ NetBrain deployment and provide assistance to optimize existing installation
  • Perform post-sales installation, configuration and customization of NetBrain software in customer networks
  • Recommend immediate and permanent problem remediation strategies in order to provide the greatest benefit possible per customer project
  • Liaise closely with the development teams in order to incorporate new technologies and improve the product portfolio
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in one of the following: network design, network management, enterprise network operations, traffic optimization, network resource planning, or network security
  • Desired device specific knowledge – Cisco (IOS, NX-OS, ASA), Juniper (JunOS, NetScreen) etc.
  • Desired protocol specific knowledge – STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, PIM, LDP, PIM, QOS etc.
  • Comfortable with CLI level configuration and management of network devices
  • Experience with operating systems, databases, and applications
  • Fundamental understanding of WAN/LAN topologies, traffic composition, quality of service, secure tunneling and WAN switching (MPLS, ATM, FR, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of conveying ideas and applying knowledge to challenging tasks
  • Strong technical presentation skills
  • CCNP or equivalent Cisco experience is required
  • CCIE a plus
